3 Phases of Data Center Construction Cleaning

We offer mission-critical construction cleaning and post-construction cleaning in data centers, cleanrooms, and other controlled environments. For most construction operations, there are 3 stages of cleaning in data centers.

Phase I – Maintenance
On-Site Daily Data Center Cleaning

Technicians remain on-site throughout construction to maintain cleanliness

Areas are cleaned to interim industry standards during the process

Assist with commissioning spaces to prepare for customer inspection

Services are billed as standard time and material during this phase

Phase II – 5 Micron Clean
Post Air Handler Activation Cleaning

Complete facility cleaning to 5-micron levels to remove airborne particulates

Perform full testing and inspection, documenting all issues and concerns

Provide a detailed environmental report with action items

Prepare the environment for upcoming final inspection and system startup

Phase III – .3 Micron Clean
Inspection Turnover Cleaning

Final clean performed to 0.3-micron ISO 14644 and ASHRAE standards

Ensure all areas are contaminant-free before equipment installation begins

Deliver a full environmental report to the project or construction group

Confirm facility is compliant, clean, and ready for operational turnover
