The issue of Zinc Needles (or Zinc Whiskers) has been plaguing data centers worldwide for almost 50 years, causing catastrophic downtime in high-tech environments. For the past decade, disaster recovery companies have been stepping forward to remediate this contamination from high-tech computer centers; thus the term Zinc Remediation was born – and there are many companies around the world who have paid large amounts of money to have this service performed.
